Some people specifically tuned in to watch a Coronation Street episode on 26th January 2009 simply to find out who “he” was; the new Foxy Bingo advert launched in the 7.45pm commercial break of this well loved soap opera and it was finally revealed that “he” is in fact Foxy from the online bingo site of the same name, Foxy Bingo.
The new Foxy Bingo advert is 40 seconds long in it’s entirety and shows Foxy alighting the space ship depicted in the Hes Back 2009 campaign. The initial scene of the advert shows a woman enjoying a hot drink by her window when she sees a bright light fly past her window. This encourages her to leave the comfort of her home and go searching through the woods for the source. The woods are filled with many other flashlights all in search of the big disco ball that has fallen to earth.
The scene when they arrive at the disco ball is similar to that from ET or similar Sci Fi type films with many people gathering around. The doors open to reveal some swanky shoes and the new Foxy Bingo really gets underway! Foxy strut’s to the forefront and says in his every so groovy way “I’m back”.
Much dancing ensues whilst the voice over announces “Join Foxy Bingo today; £1 million must be won this month.” Foxy then says “It’s Foxy time!”.
The new Foxy Bingo advert is funky and fresh; combine this with the chance to win £1 million and this online bingo site has a sure fire hit alongside the Foxy Bingo Show.
